Rack Mounted Installation
A minimum of 300 mm (12 in) free

the UPS to enable adequate cooling air
flow. However a minimum rear
clearance of 800 mm (31 in) is required
to enable ease of access for cabling.
A minimum of 300 mm (12 in) free
space must be provided at the front of
the UPS to enable adequate cooling air
flow, and a clearance of 800 mm (31 in)
is required to facilitate ease of
installation through the rack front.
Tower Installation
A minimum of 300 mm (12 in) free
space must be provided at the front and
rear of the UPS to enable adequate
cooling air flow.
However a rear clearance of 500 mm
(20 in) and side clearance of 300 mm
(12 in) is necessary for rear cabling
access. This may be achieved by
installing the UPS with a sufficient cable
length to enable it to be pulled forward
sufficiently for rear access.
Depending on the installed location, it is
recommended that the front clearance
is increased to at least 1000 mm (40 in)
to facilitate ease of pedestrian passage.
(1000 mm for certain locations)
