Programmable Outlet Settings

You can change programmable outlet settings at any time irrespective as to whether the UPS is

off or

operating on-line. There is no need to shutdown the UPS to apply any changes made.

This procedure can be used to set-up either/both programmable outlets.

1. Click the Programmable outlet setting button on the UPS Setting Tool window.

a) The Programmable Outlook Scheme window will open in front of the UPS Setting Tool.

2. To change a particular operating function, tick (or clear) the check box to the left of the function and enter

a value if required.

Note: Enter numerical values only.

3. Activate the change by clicking the Setting button.

a) The UPS will respond with two beeps to acknowledge receipt of the data.

4. When all changes have be made, close the Programmable Outlook Scheme window by clicking the

standard Close button [X] in the top right corner of the window.

Note: If the window re-opens, select it closed for a second time.

Manual Control Switch

The manual control buttons can be used to turn ON/OFF the their respective programmable outlets while the

UPS is operating in a live environment. The operation of these buttons is not stored in memory – i.e. if you

turn OFF a programmable outlet and then shut down the UPS, when the UPS is restarted the programmable

outlet will turn ON immediately, as standard (unless there is a programmed delay).

This procedure can be used to turn ON/OFF programmable outlets individually.

1. Click the Programmable outlet setting button on the UPS Setting Tool window.

a) The Programmable Outlook Scheme window will open in front of the UPS Setting Tool.

2. Click the programmable outlets’ ON or OFF buttons as required.

3. Click Yes in the confirmation dialog box.

a) The UPS will respond with two beeps to acknowledge receipt of the change.

4. When the changes have be made, close the Programmable Outlook Scheme window by clicking the

standard Close button [X] in the top right corner of the window.

Note: If the window re-opens, select it closed for a second time.
